Barcode Registration

First, free registration comes with every barcode purchase from any member of the International Barcodes Network. However, for a barcode number to return and display manufacturer and product information from GTINs issued by the International Barcodes Network, the barcode owner must register the product.

As a result, companies legally purchase and independently register their barcodes. In addition, the company uploads product information directly, so users can trust its accuracy. Therefore, by simply typing a product barcode number into IBNREG, anyone can find the owner’s contact and product information for that barcode.

Nevertheless, the databases will only return results for barcodes purchased from BARCODES UGANDA and/or any other members of the International Barcodes Network, plus barcodes registered under our registration service.
